SV	Ik heb dan nodig geacht deze broeders te vermanen, dat zij eerst tot u zouden komen, en voorbereiden uw te voren aangedienden zegen; opdat die gereed zij, alzo als een zegen, en niet als een vrekheid.

Alex	αναγκαιον ουν ηγησαμην παρακαλεσαι τους αδελφους ινα προελθωσιν εις υμας και προκαταρτισωσιν την προεπηγγελμενην ευλογιαν υμων ταυτην ετοιμην ειναι ουτως ως ευλογιαν και μη ωσ πλεονεξιαν
ASV	I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.
BE	So it seemed to me wise for the brothers to go before, and see that the amount which you had undertaken to give was ready, so that it might be a cause for praise, and not as if we were making profit out of you.
Byz	αναγκαιον ουν ηγησαμην παρακαλεσαι τους αδελφους ινα προελθωσιν εις υμας και προκαταρτισωσιν την προκατηγγελμενην ευλογιαν υμων ταυτην ετοιμην ειναι ουτως ως ευλογιαν και μη ωσ πλεονεξιαν
Darby	I thought it necessary therefore to beg the brethren that they would come to you, and complete beforehand your fore-announced blessing, that this may be ready thus as blessing, and not as got out of you.
ELB05	Ich hielt es daher für nötig, die Brüder zu bitten, daß sie zu euch vorauszögen und diesen euren zuvor angekündigten Segen vorher zubereiteten, daß er also bereit sei als Segen, und nicht als Habsucht.
LSG	J'ai donc jugé nécessaire d'inviter les frères à se rendre auparavant chez vous, et à s'occuper de votre libéralité déjà promise, afin qu'elle soit prête, de manière à être une libéralité, et non un acte d'avarice.

Sch	Darum habe ich es für nötig gehalten, die Brüder zu ermahnen, vorauszureisen zu euch, um diesen zum voraus angekündigten Segen zuzurüsten, damit er bereit sei, so daß es ein Segen sei und nicht wie ein Geiz.
Scriv	αναγκαιον ουν ηγησαμην παρακαλεσαι τους αδελφους ινα προελθωσιν εις υμας και προκαταρτισωσιν την προκατηγγελμενην ευλογιαν υμων ταυτην ετοιμην ειναι ουτως ως ευλογιαν και μη ωσπερ πλεονεξιαν
Web	Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before to you, and make up before hand your bounty, of which ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not of covetousness.
Weym	I have thought it absolutely necessary therefore to request these brethren to visit you before I myself come, and to make sure beforehand that the gift of love which you have already promised may be ready as a gift of love, and may not seem to have been something which I have extorted from you.
